Grown up Christmas list

It’s easy to have a seemingly endless and unachievable to do list at this time of year. You may be feeling caught up in the busyness and stress of the season, and find that by the end of the day, your list is now longer and nothing is crossed off.
The invitation in today’s practice is to focus in on just three things you want to achieve. Make a note of them in the morning. This gives you the chance to focus on what you’d really like to do that day, and takes pressure off the things that can be left to some other day, or given to someone else to do, or perhaps not done at all.
At the end of the day, notice how this small, focused list worked for you. Did it help you attend to those selected tasks or activities? Do you feel any different? Perhaps less stressed, or more satisfied.
You can also use this time to reflect on three things that you enjoyed about your day. This will help build up your well-being and sense of fulfilment.
