Window gazing

It’s amazing what you see when you really begin to look. Today I invite you to keep building your ‘noticing’ muscles by taking a look out of a window and engaging your sense of sight. 

Set a timer for five minutes, take a few deep breaths and look out a window of your choice. Look at everything you see. Start with the things that are closer to you and then, progressively, move your focus to those that are farther away. Focus on the shapes and colours you see, look at the textures and movement. 

Afterwards, note in your journal how you feel after the practice. What surprised you? What did you pay attention to the most? What did you spot that you’d never really noticed before?
