Take five and cuddle up. Get really comfy in your favourite spot and cuddle under a cosy blanket.
Close your eyes and tune into your breathing, taking 5 deep breaths.
Focus on how it feels to be safely ensconced under the blanket. Can you sense a layer of warmth. How does it feel where the material touches you? Where are the points of connection? How does the pressure feel? What about the textures of the material – is it smooth or fluffy, patterned, or maybe silky? How do you feel sitting there, cosy and still?
After five minutes, or whenever you are ready. Reach for your journal and note down your thoughts about this practice.
