By this time of year many people have Christmas and holiday decorations up.
Take a short wander round your neighbourhood or favourite place and spot the Christmas trees in the windows and outside lights or decorations.
What do you notice about your feelings as you do the activity? Which decorations or trees are your favourites? What draws you to them? Which ones remind you of special times – a childhood Christmas, your first home, Christmasses with your children, or something else?
Afterwards, capture some thoughts in your journal.
